Once uploaded, a project will be processed by Palatial, translating and optimizing the scene for real-time engines. This process will take some time, depending on the size and complexity of your project. A ballpark estimate:
Scene size | Time to process |
---|---|
<100MB | 15-20 minutes |
100MB-500MB | 20-40 minutes |
500MB-1GB | 30-60 minutes |
1GB-2GB | 45-90 minutes |
2GB-4GB | 1 - 2 hours |
4GB+ | 2 - 4 hours |
<aside> ⚠️ Current wait times are longer than usual due to development updates. Jobs are expected to take 1-2 hours longer than usual. Thank you for your patience.

Projects with extremely high object counts (50k+), metadata (large Revit files), or high poly translucent objects may have longer processing times.
On occasion, a project may experience a processing delay, indicated in the project thumbnail. This occurs when we detect an error in the uploaded project files, and additional time will need to be taken to repair the error and rerun processing.
If the processing delay remains unresolved, please open a support ticket on Discord, or email us at [email protected], with the subject ‘Processing delay’. In both instances, please provide your workspace name and project name, so a member of our team can work with you to resolve the delay.
