Palatial can accept any type of Datasmith files, although specific support has only been built for files exported from 3dsMax, Revit, and Rhino.
Datasmith plugins also exist for other common 3D software like Twinmotion, Cinema4D and Sketchup Pro, and these files can be used in Palatial, although results may be inconsistent.
Optimization of geometry, lights, and materials will still be processed as normal, however grouped objects will not have mesh merging applied.
