Overview

The Image to SimReady workflow generates a simulation-ready 3D asset from one or more input images. A single image is the primary and recommended input flow; multi-view input (four angles) is optional and can improve geometry accuracy for complex objects.


Step 1: Asset Name

The Asset Name is the label used to keep your project files organized. It becomes the base name for the generated output files.


Step 2: Image Upload and Generation Prompt

This workflow requires at least one input image. There are two modes:

Best Practices for Input Images

The Generation Prompt serves as a helper. It refines how the system interprets your images and guides mesh reconstruction. Including physical characteristics (material, texture, shape) improves results.


Step 3: Mesh Generation

After uploading images and setting the prompt, clicking Generate Mesh runs the reconstruction pipeline. Two 3D generation backends are available depending on quality setting:
